Seasonal 'fluffing'

Vanessa and I 'fluffed up' our booth this week, adding a few touches for the season.  I love her vintage outfit on the mannequin..........I added a few 'shabby' prints in nice wood frames.  The silvery decorative chandelier is one that Susie and Jenny hung about the shop for sparkle effect - we love it being in our booth!

Although we decided against adding a lot of gaudy Halloween items, we added faux white pumpkins.............................

..............a couple of ravens and black garland, all of which tied in with 'our look'.

I placed one of those lovely warm tan pumpkins in my pretty beaded bowl, and look at the fabulous little upholstered side chair Vanessa found, a perfect spot to display some of her grain sack pillows and that gorgeous mirror. We are having a lot of fun being part of the gang at SuzAnna's Antiques.

If you're in the area, do stop by Vintage Village......you will receive a warm welcome at SuzAnna's, Sam's Porch for antiques and the best pumpkins ever, The Two Old Birds, great vintage furniture and china from sisters Debbie and Susan, and Peter's Needful Things - Furniture Restoration & Refinishing.

I can assure you that something special will go home will you and the treasure hunting experience will become addictive very quickly!

Hope you're on the hunt this weekend while the weather is perfect and the treasures are many.

  4. Your shop is looking fabulous! I love all of the ways you are displaying your items. There is a "new" shop in the Screen Door, that is very French country. I think you will like it. They have another whole store themselves in Black Mountain.
