A Favorite Thing - following rules!

Signage at a local place for parents to meet for coffee while their kids play.

I just love these simple rules for
young children, they hit the nail right
on the head! Perhaps if we continued
following them into adulthood it would
help make this world a much better
place......what say you?

Go play and have fun this weekend.

  2. Mary, I echo Penny..a great set of rules. I especially like the the last one...if your are sick stay home and rest. Oh course I speak as a teacher who catches every sniffle and cold brought into the classroom. I do hope you have a weekend full of playtime. Bonnie

  3. Kind of like that idea about having learned the most important rules for living during Kindergarten -- simple courtesy and kindness!

  4. I've read somewhere that we learn all the rules we need in life in the Kindergarten classroom - share, pick up after yourself, listen, etc. I am now following your blog from MHC and look forward to reading more :-)

  5. I'm with you on this one, Mary. I think taking these rules into our adult years would make the world a better place!

Thanks so much for joining in this week, my friend.

  6. Great set of rules. I've been playing in my garden this weekend - weeding, that is, but with such lovely weather and sunshine, it feels like play.
