On the 'Oregon Trail'.....................

Can't wait to tell about my fabulous visit to Portland, Oregon yesterday.............not only seeing the beautiful places of the city that some tourists never get to visit, but also.............

.............being 'led up the garden path' here to visit one of my long time, most dear blog friends!!!!!

I'm not letting the cat out of the bag this morning as Bob is cracking the whip to get me back on the road within the hour as we head to Bellingham, Washington...........but soon I'll tell more.

Meanwhile, this was the magnificent view yesterday - a perfect day in Portland.  Looking out across the city to awesome, snow-covered Mt. Hood.

I'll share more of the lovely Pacific Northwest soon.

  1. Beautiful. I lived in Seattle when I was younger and loved the area. I could never be long away from my native New England though and came back home within 2 years.

  8. We lived in Portland, Oregon for almost 2 years, before moving to Argentina and I loved every minute of it.
We lived in The Pearl District and took the streetcar and went to the Happy Hours at Blue Hour and shopped the antiques and went on drives to the Coast.
It was all wonderful. Now I have made myself want to go back and visit again :)
Your photos are lovely, I will look forward to more.
    besos, C
