Raleigh to Southampton to Sea……..

Flying into Heathrow….then south to the port of Southampton….

….not one but all three beautiful Cunard Queens showed up!  Above the Queen Elizabeth
just leaving the evening we arrived…….

 ….then Queen Mary 2 arrived and docked….

…..and not long after our liner, Queen Victoria (in background) came into view and docked - we
saw all three from our hotel window which was a real treat.

Now into our third day at sea and heading for the first port of call tomorrow, Tallinn, Estonia.
The weather is fabulous…everything is fabulous!

Tea time now - here's raising a nice cup of tea and a cucumber sandwich
to you dear friends.

  5. How exciting. Bon voyage!

We live not far from Southampton and rarely see more than one liner in at any one time. The Queen Mary 2 looks very sleek and elegant.

  6. How good is that! Three Queens at once. They are huge!!! Live dangerously, Mary, and have some petit fours with a nice cuppa.

  9. We went to Tallinn when on our cruise to St Petersburg a few years ago, loved it. I could never go on a cruise ship so big as the "Queens," too big and impersonal!! My brother has just gone on the Braemar from Dover to the Norwegian Fjords.

Have a great time, the afternoon tea looks very delicate and tempting, enjoy, Love Jackie in Surrey, UK.xo

  10. Three queens - how festive!! The cucumber sandwich made me think of a fabulous lunch we had off the square in Tallin - Balthazar - a garlic restaurant!! Sweet little side el fresco area, baskets of posies, if the day is lovely. Thanks for sharing your journey!
