Taking it to the the streets……of Asheville

Once again I just have to say it. . . . . .Asheville, North Carolina is one fabulous town. Walking around the downtown streets there are great opportunities to get fun photos. Armed with just my Nikon Coolpix S6400 point and shoot I had a wonderful time catching the vibrancy of the town.

If you've never visited I hope you have a chance to go sooner rather than later. If you've been at least once I know you loved it and, if you're like me, you've returned to lovely Asheville again and again!

  1. I love when you visit here Mary. You got some great shots! Someday I should take my camera downtown and get some pictures.

  2. Love, love, love your streetscape photos! Cool beans! Can you recommend some good places to eat? We plan to go a couple of days before our Biltmore Thanksgiving package deal and stay at the Doubletree near the Biltmore entrance. But we can drive to good places to eat, as long as we don't have to park and walk a long way to a restaurant in a downtown area. Jim can't walk that far without getting wore out, so adjacent parking is a must. Also, do they have places for Jim to sit and rest at the Grovewood Gallery and River Arts District? Any other suggestions?

  3. Ashville looks lovely. I especially noticed the color and the yellow particularly just sang to me.
You take the best photos and enhance them so beautifully.

  5. I loved looking around this colourful town. The dogs remind me of a couple of dogs in Peterborough, one sits down in the winter with a hat and a coat (at least he is warm!). I love the bike too with its crocheted adornments. Thanks for taking us round x
