Morning has broken. . . . . . . . .

. . . . . . and the haunting sadness remains when I
think of France in the aftermath of last night's horror.

Early morning, today, in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina.

  1. Mary,

Sending love in abundance to you. So very sad right now but your photo of our mountains makes me feel uplifted.

  3. I know ... the beauty of our surroundings makes the horror of what happened even more hideous.

  5. That's a beautiful photo. I liked my short time in Paris so much I am dismayed that such senseless acts can carried out.
    Stay safe my Dear friend.

  6. Beautiful, Mary. I keep thinking of the families and friends of the victims. And the horror the survivors must feel. It's so very, very sad.

  7. A beautiful photograph Mary. So perfect for reflection. The world used to be a better place. But I have faith ...it will be again.
