. . . . . . . still waiting for the new look!

I just received a very brief e-mail from Oregon.
Oh happy day, my dye job is apparently completed at last!
My new old slip covers for the sofa and chair are being packed
up and the big box will hopefully be shipped east come Monday.
It will take about a week to travel, patience required.
Will I be sad they are no longer white,
or thrilled to have them grey? My fingers are crossed
that the new look will be just what I'm hoping for.

Around the cottage things need freshening up. With Spring imminent
and Easter on the way, I'm into the attic this morning to get the white rabbits
out of hibernation. I feel some new simple, but seasonal, vignettes are needed.
Or do I just have too much time on my hands today?

  2. I hope it will turn out exactly as you wanted it to be!
It is lovely to tune in with the seasons by changing things around the house. I do little of that, but I would not want to miss what little I do.

  3. Your cottage is beautiful with the hand of your artistry, dear Mary. I am sure the grey will look just perfect. Can't wait to see.

  4. You needed a puttery day and that is a very good thing...it means that you are fluffing your nest and is there anything more peaceful or comforting than that? You will love those slipcovers. You're doing an excellent job of adding to the anticipation here. Now you've got me excited to see them and I have to wait another week?!
