Amaryllis - patience pays off. . . . . . . . . . .

Last evening. . . . . . . .

. . . . . . . . . early this morning!

Yes, the three lovely flowers are now fully open.
Just a few more hours, and in the dark of night, made such a difference.
Loved all the comments and tips you shared HERE regarding
growing/caring for these stately, beautiful flowers, again thank you.
Here's hoping I can keep mine for many years as some of
you have!
This morning it continues to rain and is very dreary outside
the windows - but inside we have this beauty to enjoy.

  1. Your amaryllis is a lovely color, I will call it salmon. I have several amaryllis, all are red or red and white.

  3. What an unusual colour, more interesting than the usual red.

  4. Oh, that's gorgeous. And my favorite colour. Your little bandit may have been a large squirrel, Mary. It's amazing how strong they can be when they want something.

    1. But the 'suet thief' comes during the dead of night Deb - I've never seen squirrels out after dark! I must be a raccoon or possum!!!

  7. Wow! How beautiful, Mary. I don't know anything about amaryllis - I've never tried growing it.
