Canada Day!

Hope all my Canadian friends are celebrating today.
Happy Canada Day to you all.

The flag is flying bright and beautiful over Halifax, Nova Scotia
today. . . . . . . as I'm certain it is all across the beautiful country of
Canada. I'm fortunate enough to be celebrating alongside the Canadians.
The weather is great here in the Maritime provinces, but
rather too hot in Ontario and Quebec, so take care if you are in those
areas!

  1. I hope to visit Canada one day. It looks like a very beautiful country. My parents lived there for 3 years after they were married. Then they moved back here 2 months before I was born.

  6. How fun that you were in Canada to celebrate Canada Day! It's certainly NOT hot here on the west coast. I'm hoping it warms up a little before we head out on the boat at the end of the week. Happy 4th of July!

  7. What a treat to celebrate Canada Day in Canada. Glad that you are staying cool! My niece went to college at Dalhousie so I love Halifax and all its quaint homes and streets.

  8. I see you weren't too far away from me on your recent visit to Halifax. We got to spend some time there in 2016 when my sister had to have emergency eye surgery while she was visiting us from BC! Murray and I rather enjoyed the sights while she lay in the hospital resting for 2 days. What a time! We enjoyed the waterfront/downtown, Citadel Hill and the Public Gardens. Take care! Pam
