Other people's furry friends. . . . . . . . . .

For a few days I'm cat-sitting again.
Nala knows me well now. . . . . . . . but it still takes several days before she
allows a cuddle. In fact, this time around, before I have to leave town myself,
I may not even be able to entice her into my lap with a treat, time will tell.

Cats definitely have personalities.
Here's more about Nala.

  1. What a cutie. Cats do take their time to warm up to you. Which is why I tend to prefer dogs.

  2. Nala is a pretty kittie. I hope she warms up to you and you can hear her purr and cuddle.

  3. Awwwww....so cute! As it happens, we've been doggy-sitting for the past five days while my son is currently on a short holiday break in Singapore. He gets back tomorrow. :)

  4. I wonder how much you'd really want Nala on your lap, what with it being so hot right now!
My old cat loved sleeping in my arm - even in the summer. That was often a bit too warm and furry for comfort, but I just never had the heart to make her sleep elsewhere.

  5. Nala is a beautifully marked kitty. I hope that she accepts some cuddles because you’re the best friend she has right now. 🙂

  6. I remember Nala! Such a pretty kitty. I think a lot of people have preconceived notions about cats, that they don't have distinct personalities such as dogs, but nothing could be further from the truth. As someone who has had cats since she was a little girl, I can attest to their wonderful and distinct personalities.
