They are gorgeous!
We had some wild weather here too this week. Although the rain has made for easy weed pulling, which is always welcome. We're also enjoying the cooler weekend before things heat up again.
Happy@Homehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15748146424809856063noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7310317081887553860.post-15331882396346212122014-05-17T16:33:03.155-04:002014-05-17T16:33:03.155-04:00So glad the birdhouses got to stay. I hope there is time to dry out before the next storm - that surely is an amazing amount of water all at once!
Here we are having some much appreciated relief from the heat wave, and the cooler weather is helping with fighting the wildfires. None of those near us, thankfully. Some areas had 20 to 24 inches of rain in 24 hours. So many people who had never flooded before had 2 to 3 feet of water in their homes.Sandyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11845486593241322849noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7310317081887553860.post-48091497760210912602014-05-17T10:12:08.136-04:002014-05-17T10:12:08.136-04:00Hello Mary, hope you've dried out a bit today? ...Hello Mary, hope you've dried out a bit today? We just had a little bit of rain, but it is much cooler now. We are suppose to have rain again tomorrow and then on Monday it gets nice again. After finally finishing our pergola, it has been to wet to use it!
xo
PennyPenny from Enjoying The Simple Thingshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01480355122441712250noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7310317081887553860.post-22391765761690328862014-05-17T08:29:57.072-04:002014-05-17T08:29:57.072-04:00Oh, that is a lot of rain! Actually our forests are very dry right now even after all the snow and rain of winter and spring and there is a fire ban on. We can't have a bonfire this weekend and we have a pile of brush to burn. And then there is the aftermath of clearing up and putting everything to rights once more. We do hope that you will be spared anything similar. We're still pretty normal out on our island, but it's been much drier than other springs so I wonder what the summer will hold.
Glad you saved your pretty foxgloves.Lorriehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03653026442945027184noreply@blogger.com
