What a journey this has been. I have so much to share with you when back home again.
The days at sea have been somewhat rough at times, rocking and rolling across the huge swells and white capped waves. The islands have been awesome - the seabirds, penguins, sea lions and seals have meant snapping away and editing hundreds of photos each evening. So much to show you later!!
Internet access is very sporadic and impossible to load pics right now.
Come back and visit me soon when I will share the awesome beauty of these sub-Antarctic Islands.
Mary.
Wonderful to hear from you and I will so look forward to hearing more when you come home.
ReplyDeleteFind a good chair, and hang on tight Mary!
ReplyDeleteMary, I hear Tasmania is gorgeous! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteYou've already got MY attention Mary! I'm in awe of your wonderlust - I'd get sea-sick on a boating pool! I'm lucky enough to have stroked a penguin, they feel just like velvet...
ReplyDeleteHave a continued safe and wonderful journey :o)
Hugs

It's wonderful to hear you are enjoying your trip down under and I look forward to seeing your pics when you can post them. Safe travels to you! Blessings and hugs, Pamela
ReplyDeleteWill do !! "The Piano" movie music started playing on your site as I read your post, and I thought about the deep deep sea and your rocky journey over it.

Lovely to hear from you, I was wondering how you were getting on your wonderful trip, look forward to details and photographs when you get back.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear you're still having a wonderful time, looking forward to seeing the pix soon.
ReplyDeleteHope the seas weren't too rough and that you have proved to be a good sailor! My daughter wants us to do a cruise in the Arctic circle next year but I'm not keen as I definitely am not a good sailor. Looking forward to seeing your photos.
ReplyDeleteOh, Mary, my stomach is churning just reading your words. I couldn't do it. Hope you don't experience more rough seas.
ReplyDeleteThanks for posting. ~ Sarah
It's a good thing you were not close to Alaska with the waves they were having there along with the bad weather. Hopefully the rough seas will be over with soon.
ReplyDeleteTake Care,
Ulrike
