Aw, thank you, Mary! I hope you enjoyed the day off, so to speak. :)
I am just making the rounds with some actual down time to visit those peeps in blogland who I am thankful for --who have in their won way blessed me one way or another. You are most certainly one of them. :)
It snowed so beautifully today as we spent a quiet day indoors, having a neighbour over with her two girls and an elderly freind we know too who I picked up for dessert or choc digestives, tea and homemade cherry pie tarts. Yummy.
Enjoy your reprieve from kitchen duties, Mary. A very Happy Thanksgiving to you.

Happy Relaxed Thanksgiving, Mary.
ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving Mary - enjoy your trip to the coast - I grew up in Wilmington and spent summers at Wrightsville Beach - such a beautiful spot!
ReplyDeleteSounds lovely Mary - the important thing is family getting together and sharing news and memories over a delicious meal - enjoy!

Hope it was lovely, Mary. Hugs, Deb
ReplyDeleteMary, a lady after my own heart. Maybe next year I can convince the family to eat out.

Hope you had a terrific Thanksgiving. We had the little guy's first sleep over. Hooray! Cartoons and the parade in the morning.
ReplyDeleteThat's the way my mom and brother do it now. I made a quick vegan meal with just enough leftovers for me to have for a couple of days. Delish!
