We visited Washington a few years ago. I didn't get to do any shopping though because my son wanted to spend all our time at the various Smithsonian museums. I can't say I blame him. The exhibits are quite stunning.
Great photos and the Lemon Tart looks yummy! If I win Lotto Mary, I'll fly to Washington and meet you there! What fun you and I could have seeing such sites as Capitol Hill, the Smithsonian Institute (always wanted to take my children there), Mt Vernon.... and then there's the shopping and checking out Vintage! Wouldn't that be fun!! xx
Sounds like you are having a great time!
