.......and if I was wealthy I would be there too dear!!!! Those 'first row' homes are so expensive. That particular beach faces direct east so the sunrises are awesome.
That first photo with the bird in the foreground is postcard-worthy! I also love the one with the person walking the dog. They are all great, but these two stand out for me. Glad you had the chance to do this!
Thanks Meike - I only used my iPhone this trip, let Jasmin use my camera as she didn't want to lug her large/heavy DSLR to the beach! She will let me share her photos later perhaps - she's such an awesome photographer!
Our beaches here in Naples are just opening up again after hurricane Ian. They were not safe for a while because of debris and bacteria. I am heading there tomorrow for my first beach walk in over two months.
Beautiful. I always think that a walk by the sea freshens the soul! As you know, we are lucky enough to live near enough to the coast and have a good choice of walks and scenery. It’s certainly an escape from the rush of everyday life. Hope you are keeping well. 😁
Thanks - we are doing good. Sorry don't know who you are perhaps if you can only comment as 'anonymous' you could add your name. Google is so difficult these days! Happy December.
So happy you could "dip" your toes in the water. What a special treat and so beautiful. I love a visit to the coast anytime of the year, even in winter.
The two storey homes facing the ocean have the best views of the skies, sand, water.and birds. I would love to live in one of those houses.

ReplyDeleteHappy to know your lovely beach is recovering from Ian's wrath Penny - enjoy your walks.
DeleteDearest Mary,
ReplyDeleteThat looked indeed very peaceful and calm for strolling alongside the beach!
Hugs,
Mariette
It was perfect on Monday especially, the water actually felt warm! Few people, just some of us 'shelling' and others walking dogs.
DeleteWhat beautiful photos. I prefer the beach during the low season as I don't like it if it gets too crowded.
ReplyDeleteI'm in agreement - love the coast when the tourists are gone, haha!
DeleteWonderful photos of your relaxing beach getaway.
ReplyDeleteWe had such a great time - just not long enough!
