Peterhof Palace, St. Petersburg
Catherine Palace, St. Petersburg
So much to share with you later from beautiful St. Petersburg ~ here's just a teaser of the beautiful places we visited in the past two days - and the weather was so kind to us.
On the high seas again today in rain showers heading to Stockholm.
Lovely cruise so far ~ wish you were all here.
Gorgeous photography! Amazing architecture. Keep having fun.
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos! That palace is magnificent. Since I will most likely never get the chance to travel to these places, I am enjoying the virtual travels through you!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Thank you for sharing. It makes me want to return to St Petersburg and visit the Hermitage again. Did you go? Some absolutely outstanding artwork, but the conditions were dreadful for the conservation of the art when I was there in 2006. Hopefully that might have changed. I'll eagerly await more blog posts.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were in St Petersburg we were told that there are very few really sunny days. We had a few and it looks like you did too!
ReplyDeleteWow! Your photos are spectacular...
ReplyDeleteOh Mary I wish we were there too - it looks amazing.
ReplyDeleteEver since seeing the film Doctor Zhivago I've wanted to travel to Russia, to see the Urals, Saint Petersburg and The Hermitage.
It's wonderful we have this opportunity to see it through your eyes and photos!
Stunning colours on those old buildings. Wonderful architecture. I'd love to visit that corner of the world some day. So glad you are sharing your travels on your blog.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, indeed! Hope you have smooth sailing. I, too, await more posts.
ReplyDeleteGreat photographs, you were lucky with the weather, it wasn't so nice when we visited a few years ago.
ReplyDeleteContinue to enjoy the cruise. Jackie in Surrey, UK.x
Wish I was there too!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photographs! So glad that you two are having fun -- hopefully the rain will only be on sea days! We leave for St. John on Sunday, so I'm hoping that we all get nice weather! Lots of love to you both.
ReplyDeleteGlad that you are having a wonderful time. Petersburg looks lovely.
