~ Spectacular sunset in Washington State ~
I'm home again now. North Carolina welcomed us early this morning
after the 'red eye' flight from Seattle to Dallas connecting to the
Raleigh flight. A missed night of real sleep, just those little naps again.
So, turning in early tonight and hopefully my inner clock will get
straightened out again soon!
With Autumn now officially here I certainly have a lot to catch up with.
A lot of garden work required. . . . . . and I need to start hunting for pumpkins.
No lack of pumpkins in my town at the moment! The pumpkin exhibition at the palace grounds is in full swing - photos will follow as soon as I get round to writing the post :-)
ReplyDeleteThose sunset pictures are truly breathtakingly beautiful. Glad you made it home alright!
Thanks Meike - look fwd to seeing the palace pumpkins 🎃
DeleteAutumn brings such stunning sunsets.
ReplyDeleteSeeing lots of pumpkins on IG and I thought of you Mary!
I wonder if you will decorate with those lovely small white ones you’ve used before!
Autumn comes and goes here - we don’t decorate for the seasons - but we go all out with Christmas and I always decorate my table for Easter!
Shane I’ve been using greenish grey along with white the past few years - will head to the farm soon as they sell out fast.
DeleteStunning photos Mary, just right for Autumn. I hope things have quietened down after the hurricane, and all is well for your home-coming.
ReplyDeleteWorked for many hours outside today- my back is now killing me😩
DeleteLooks better though - Bob mowed - I also filled the feeders and birds are happy, especially the cardinals!
Glad your back safe and sound.
ReplyDeleteIt was a great time to go and I am hoping that things have settled down and that it’s a good time to be home again. Beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteWhen I opened your blog just now, that stunning photograph literally took my breath away!!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI used my iPhone and was pleased with the pix - we were driving and pulled over to a little rest are where I climbed down closer to the water. Thanks PT
DeleteGorgeous sunset!
ReplyDeleteAs fun as traveling may be, I'm sure it's always a wonderful feeling to arrive back home. I hope you had a good night of sleep and felt refreshed the next day. xx
Beautiful! Oh yes, it is closing in on pumpkin time and I always love your adventures to the farm.
