Thanksgiving 2020 -

No matter where, no matter how, make the most of things
this different year, and have a happy day.

************

I may not pop up with new posts for a while!
I'm now having to switch over to, and learn how to use,
the new version of PicMonkey.
With Adobe Flash being discontinued at the end of December,
this wonderful photo editing program of many years - I signed on at
PicMonkey's inception - is changing.  Some of you I know have
already managed to take the plunge and now I must do the same.
I'm no smart techie and I admit to not being a very patient
person. Put those two together and coming days, maybe weeks,
don't sound much fun!
I'll let you know how it goes!

Meanwhile, once Thanksgiving is over, like most of you,
I'll be pulling out the boxes of Christmas items and
'hanging the greens'.
Life goes on - we must too!

    1. Thanks Lorrie - I've just made a casserole of vegetarian stuffing, looks so good I could start eating right now! Also made my own cranberry sauce - beautiful fresh berries from a place I'm familiar with, Cape Cod, Massachusetts!
Thanks for forwarding the calendar X

  3. Hope that you both have a lovely ThanksgivingX
I am sure that you, like me, keep getting a message popping up each and everyday telling you that adobe flash is vanishing soon which makes you realise that PicMonkey will be all change very soon. I am sure that you will have no problems, it just takes longer learning to handle with a completely different process. On old PicMonkey I can make any changes without even having to think about it.

    1. Yes, that goes for a lot of things these days Rosemary - new things require more brain power, whereas the old ways come naturally with much less effort!
Of course I'm somewhat anxious to try all the new things PicMonkey is now offering - I just need patience. Thanks for the heads up.

  6. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving, Mary. I haven't used PicMonkey in a while as I had started to use Pixlr and then they changed it because of Adobe Flas too. Such a nuisance.

    Happy Thanksgiving to you both!
Stay well and be patient with yourself as you no doubt will tackle this learning curve rather quick.

  9. Happy Thankgsgiving to you, too, dear Mary! We do not observe it over here, but I am grateful every day for the wonderful life I am allowed to lead - family and friends, a home and a job, my health...

You didn't have much trouble when blogger changed to the new interface; I am sure you will master the new photo editing in no time, too.

  10. Happy Thanksgiving dear Mary. It is always such a pleasure to visit your blog. I am sure your photos will be as gorgeous as ever with pic monkey. Technology confounds me! PS our borders are opening, and we are off to Sydney asap - to see our new twin grandsons :) xx

  12. Dear Mary,
Why don't you edit a few photos (which you might want to use) in old PicMonkey and have them ready for a couple of posts. That way you won't feel so much pressure and you will have time to get acquainted with the New PicMonkey.
I hope that you and Bob have an extra special Thanksgiving.
