Life has taken a bit of a curve lately. I'm busy with stuff that is not happy-go-lucky or fun. It seems so different from a year ago when I was involved in lots of creative endeavors........such as my booth (above) at SuzAnna's Antiques!
Thankfully, my recent diagnosis of Polymyalgia Rheumatica (PMR) is not life threatening, however it is somewhat debilitating and is slowing me down. Frequent doctor appointments, being on several medications, sleep disturbance, difficulty doing things involving my hands, feeling jittery and 'different', and dealing with pain......all contribute to big changes in daily living.
I guess what I'm really trying to say here is that I feel bad not leaving comments on your posts........I read them with great pleasure, I want to add my thoughts to all you generously share, but right now it's really hard for me. To those of you who have left me such lovely comments or written me such kind e-mails, please know how very much they are appreciated. Your thoughts and prayers are getting me through this 'change in the wind'.
I'm still getting ready for the trip to Europe in less than two weeks time.......I'll share more about this soon. Meanwhile, I'll continue to work on bringing you more photos from the recent Western Australian adventure as I want to share the awesome scenery.........it's just taking more time to organize these days!
Again, heartfelt thanks to you all for your kindness and understanding.......your being out there helps more than you'll ever know.

Thinking of you and hoping all is well when you leave on your next trip. Strange to think I'll be there and you'll be here! We will have to synchronise our travel plans a little better next year. Big hug!
ReplyDeleteAh, Mary - comments are never necessary - we know you're there and dealing with life in all its moods. It's good that you have the trip to Europe as distraction - enjoy!
ReplyDeleteMary, Just know that you are in our thoughts. Hopefully you will be feeling like your old self with time. And please, don't feel like you have to leave comments. Everyone understands. Just keep us posted occasionally on what you are up to. Hugs, The Other Penny
ReplyDeleteDear Mary, don't waste a second of worry over not leaving comments. You are so dear to us and we only want to see you feel better. I am so sorry to hear you are battling this, but know that I am always here for you.

Mary, you shouldn't be bothered with worrying about comments, we will all be here when you are feeling up to blogging more. You have so many things on your plate right now, I wish I were there to lend an ear or hand. Please know I am thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteXO,
Jane
I agree with the other commenters, Mary. I totally understand and will watch for whatever posts you are able to do and updates too. Take care of yourself and know that your friends out here are thinking of you and wishing you well. God bless! Hugs, Pamela
ReplyDeleteDear Mary, you have no need to worry about not commenting. I read your blog for the pleasure of getting to know you a little bit. Knowing the struggles you are currently enduring makes me glad whenever a post pops up in my reader.
ReplyDeleteTake care.

I'm so sorry you are having these challenges, Mary. You hang in there, post about your fabulous adventures when you can, and save your energy for more of them!
ReplyDeleteMary, The most important thing is to take care of yourself. Take your time, a chronic illness so often takes time to control. Rest and have fun preparing for your upcoming holiday.
ReplyDeletePlease don't give another thought to commenting. More than anything we want you to be healthy and feeling well again. Take care of yourself and take comfort in knowing we are surrounding you in love and healing thoughts.
ReplyDeleteMary, getting you back on a healthy track is what is important. No need to comment. I'm happy to hear you are going to see your family. That will be good for your health. ;-) Take care of yourself and post those pictures when you have the energy. Love hearing about your trips........Sarah
ReplyDeleteLife has a habit of throwing us a curved ball every now and then.
ReplyDeleteJust take care of your self and save your energy for your date with Europe.
One day at a time for now, it's lovely just to read your little updates.
It's funny isn't it, how we feel close to one another. I found myself saying to someone, "my blog friend Mary...." but I knew they wouldn't understand the bond that can develop in this way.
Take care of yourself - lots of fresh air and rest (I'm sounding like my mother!)
I hope Bob will be with you this time
love and hugs

ReplyDeleteI hope you will feel better soon. Love, the bikeboi
It must be hard to adjust, you are always so full of energy and enthusiasm for life. I guess you will just have to take things more slowly until the medication does its job . You must be feeling frustrated. Hope you soon feel more like yourself.
ReplyDeleteMeanwhile just take it slowly! Your photographs are always so beautiful, you capture wonderful images. I loved the yellow scene with the camels. You have had some amazing experiences.
I am SO sorry you aren't doing well! Life has a way of throwing us curve balls! I've been dealing with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and arthritis for a number of years now, but am just so grateful it isn't worse...I hope God will help you through this, and give you the strength you need. I'm glad you visit my blog, even if you don't comment. That means a lot! God bless you!
ReplyDeletesorry to hear you are not "up to snuff" Mary. Take time to relax and feel better, after Europe that is :) Sending you and Bob my best.
