The small town of Wyndham is the oldest and northernmost
town in the Kimberley region......established
in 1886 as the result of a gold rush.
Friends and friendship.......distance makes
no difference. Knowing you are there and care
has been of great solace to me these last few days.

My husband has done North Western Australia when he was young - before I knew him.
His memories are more of red dust and unbelievable heat, yet when he talks about it I think it still sounds romantic... Out of Africa type romantic...
So your images have a strong feeling of deja vu for me!
