Eastertime. . . . . . .

I'm not doing a lot of Easter decor around the cottage this year.
As we're getting ready for a big trip in a few weeks I'm just trying to keep
my head above water with so many things on the calendar . . . . . such as the
garden in need of much TLC; doctor, hospital and physio appointments; and of
course deciding on what to take to wear in Europe where the weather is always
somewhat unpredictable, going from cold to hot in no time depending on which
country you happen to step ashore on.

Meanwhile, the white rabbits did hop out of storage in the attic.
The daffodils bloomed and the tulips are coming along well, although
the azaleas are so late this year.
A couple of girlies are getting Easter baskets - and there
will be eggs enjoyed in some type of disguise, whether soft-boiled
for breakfast, hidden in a cake, or scattered about the front lawn
for a little hunt.

May Easter be a very special time for you and your family.

Don't forget, one post back you can enter my GIVEAWAY for a
free beautiful large canvas print of your favorite photo.

  1. Wishing you a Happy Easter Weekend. Your decorations look lovely as always. I have sent cards and bought Lindt bunnies and have some tulips and daffodils to cheer up the house.
Sadly the rain and stormy weather has broken off many garden flowers. A very wet grey gloomy day here, but the birds are still singing. We still have our fire going all day as it is chilly but we have had some welcome sunshine. It seems you have had a long winter and are still waiting for spring in many places.
Glad to hear you are still enjoying travelling. Sounds like you are going on another interesting trip with lots of different countries. I hope you and Bob both have a wonderful trip. Take care.
    Best wishes Eileenx

  6. Hello Mary,

We are not surprised that life is somewhat hectic with you at present as you count down the days to your next travel adventure. However, such fun that you did allow the White rabbits time to come out to play.

Budapest has returned to winter this week, so do be prepared. However, a warm welcome is waiting!

  8. Your pretty bunnies look ready for Easter! I'm whisking around today, cleaning and preparing food for the weekend. Overnight guests plus the family on Sunday for dinner. The house is starting to smell good. I bought a few tulips and they nod their heads so prettily. I hope you have a wonderful time with family/friends. Happy Easter, Mary!
