A Day in Amsterdam. . . . . . . . .




We disembarked the Viking Cruises longship this morning - a perfect day in 
Amsterdam. Sun shining and quite warm as we enjoyed a canal boat ride, later 
a circular city tour on board the Hop On Hop Off bus, and some walking between 
literally thousands of bicycle riders!
Time for a little more sightseeing tomorrow morning before flying to London.
Our traditional 'fish 'n chips' supper at a favorite pub near Heathrow airport 
planned for tomorrow evening - a good sleep, and then back to the USA on Friday.
More then. . . . . . . . . .

    Mary dear, your time on the riverboats has just flown by!
    Amsterdam looks wonderful - I love the architecture.
    We love the water so it would have much to offer us too.
    We always do the hop on/hop off bus trips - great for an overview of the city!
    I'm sure you're looking forward to home and your own bed now!
