Bob and Mary, the cottage mice, are ready for another celebration tomorrow.
They had such a great time on New Year's Eve HERE, they've decided
St. Valentine's Day should include a bottle of bubbly once again, perhaps
with a little - very little - box of chocolates. . . . all enjoyed whilst snuggled by
the fire watching Downton Abbey of course.
Mary mouse dressed up for St. Valentine's Day by adding a red bow.
Whereas, real Mary will be wearing something red to the theatre this
evening to see a production of 'Sweeney Todd' - her Zara coat which
hasn't seen much use this wet Winter - because it's truly freezing cold
this February weekend.
Of course wearing red is also in recognition of American Heart Month.
. . . . .Bob also of course!
You too dear. Sounds like a good Valentines day.
ReplyDeleteHappy Valentine's Weekend to Bob and Mary, both of the lovely couples. '-)
ReplyDeleteI know you look terrific in your red dress!
Happy Valentines weekend. Love that red coat if it's the same one you showed before. Enjoy wearing it to the theatre and I'll say cheers, to you both, including the cuddly mice.
ReplyDeleteBob and Mary mice look ready to party!
ReplyDeleteSweeney Todd sounds interesting - we loved that series over here!
You're so lucky having access to great theatre in Raleigh
Me again Mary, I was interrupted when one of my good friends phoned.
ReplyDeleteTo carry on we have a couple of quite good theatre companies but their plays are often too avant garde for me!
Wishing both you and Bob a wonderful Valentines evening savouring the last series of Downton.
Love and hugs
Shane
You will be fabulous in your red - just the thing for Sweeney Todd!!
ReplyDeleteH, it was an amazing production for a small local theatre - we are so lucky to have such great actors in this area.
DeleteMary -
And you and Bob have a wonderful Valentine's Day, too! Your little mice look very much in love.
ReplyDeleteOh they are Vee - and hopefully will stay that way for many more years!
DeleteMary -
Sending you wishes for a warm and happy day....Hugs!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy snuggling by the fire whilst watching Downton Abbey Mary and Bob with the champagne and a wee box of chocolates close to hand♡
ReplyDeleteThose mice are so darn cute! Happy Valentine's Day to you and your sweetie. :-)
ReplyDeleteBob and Mary look ready for anything! The red coat will have been a bright spot in a sea of black at the theatre, methinks. Happy Valentine's Day, Mary and Bob!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! I'm a day late but Happy Valentine's Day!! Love your little mice :)! My sweetie and I watched Downton Abbey also by the fireplace.
ReplyDeleteI know it was just a fabulous Valentine's. May the love continue throughout the week and years to come. Happy Valentine's to you and Bob.
ReplyDeleteWEll, thank you Bob too!Haha. :)
ReplyDeleteI think both sets of Bob and Mary know how to have a jolly good time, living it up! Any sized box of chocs is good with me and Alex and I always enjoy whatever it is whilst also snuggled by the fire watching Downton Abbey. The last episode was divine--those dresses on the women all at the table. And that stairway scene with the beautiful cinematography and coloured lighting. Gorgeous.
