Autumn Days are fleeting. . . . . . . .

I've just not had time to take many photos this season.
Being my favorite time of year I know I should be out and about, with
my camera, capturing the beauty of Nature here close to home.
Instead I'm home doing things such as organizing, cleaning, planning......
all those mundane chores required to keep life moving along as the
lovely sunny days pass swiftly by.

This collage, from a former Autumn, is one of my favorites showing the things
 I love . . . . . . so I'm sharing it again on this beautiful November morning.
Off now to plan what I need to prepare for Thanksgiving next week as it will be
here before we know it.

If in the US, are you home for the Thanksgiving holiday this year?

  2. It's a very beautiful collage! You could really turn many of your photos into calendars, postcards and posters. But maybe you have already been doing that anyway.

    1. You are so kind - I have had some of my photos printed on cards and would like to do more. As always, never enough time. . . . . .or
perhaps I'm just too slow and poorly organized! I used to be like you, full of energy, but admit I'm slowing down a bit! It's called aging - put it off as long as possible!

  3. I will do anything other than clean and sort and organize at home. :) Was a couch potato for three days but today I got my mojo back so did some wandering. :)

    1. Yes but you have a good excuse Tammy dear - sandstorms!!!!
Sometimes I wish I could live in a place which doesn't have to be dust-free now I'm less flexible and housework has become a real pain! Perhaps a canvas tent in the African bush - I really do love it there. Or back to Antarctica - don't recall a single speck of dust on all that ice, haha!
      Mary -

  4. Your collage is gorgeous, Mary. It truly highlights the beauty of the autumn season.
Although we could use rain here in NC, it has been a lovely fall, hasn't it?
Curious to hear where your next trip will take you.

  7. Glad that you are sharing the collage again because it is a beautiful one. It would make a terrific Thanksgiving card. I will be traveling a mile across town to spend Thanksgiving with my hometown family.

  9. That's a beautiful autumn collage. It seems there are always more things to do than time or energy to do them. Sometimes it's beneficial to just walk out of the house for a bit. Take care, Mary.

  10. What a beautiful collage, lovely images of my favourite season, Autumn. The faded rose and the cheeky squirrel really caught my eye!

  11. What a lovely collage for Autumn. We will go to our daughter's home for Thanksgiving. This is new for us, but happy to be passing that on to them. Then we will have Christmas. May you be blessed this Thanksgiving season.

  12. I have no idea where I will be for Thanksgiving, although I think it will be at my daughters house. I wanted to do it at my house but I don't have enough seating ... that got me out of a lot of cooking, if I look at it that way :)
Have a lovely holiday ... and eat all you want. And then you can be Thankful that you can eat all you want :)

  14. Well, I'm glad you showed these photos again. Just lovely.

"organizing, cleaning, planning"--It sounds like you are keeping up with the Marie Kondo method then I hope? :)
