They spoke to me at the grocery
store early last week......
as I stopped to pick up the basics, milk,
juice, English muffins etc.
They definitely weren't on my shopping list.......
.....but they were so bright and beautiful.
Summer's golden sunflowers came home with me.
Delightful.
Oh, they are beautiful and your artistic photography does them justice. It's easy to see why you weren't able to pass them up!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary,
ReplyDeleteOh - Sunflowers - my favorite happy flower to paint. Yours are beautiful. I spent some time this morning looking at your awsome photos of Africa again and am in awe of the beauty and the quality of your photos. I think you should write a little travel column and share your fabulous photos!!!
Have a lovely day.
Blessings,
Erin
I'm glad you heard them calling you - they are like a smile in a vase. I'll be traveling this week, but I always make sure to buy flowers for my hotel room - they cheer me at the end of a long day. This week, I think they should be sunflowers!
ReplyDeleteThey are beautiful! I love sunflowers. They are so happy.

I wouldn't be able to resist those either.

Such happy flowers. A little gold came home with me from the grocery this week too. $3.99 a bunch. Such a deal!
ReplyDeleteHow could you resist them! They always make me think of the South of France, where there were fields of them, so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThey're so pretty! I planted some sunflowers, but I did it later in the spring. I always seem to be late with ideas like that. I hope they have time to bloom!

ReplyDeleteI have been to sunflower field once when I was just 10 years old and the view was amazing. I still remember how beautiful the field was looking. It is one of the memorable days of the life. I also have a snap of the day with me!!!
