Good gracious, another month has flown and
it's time to join Vee's Note Card party for the
beautiful month of May.
I dried a new batch of roses, some purchased from that favorite grocery
store (if you're in the US you know which one!), some from my garden.
I used one photo for my Mother's Day post and decided the extras would
make a good selection for this month's box of all-purpose cards.

I'm displaying the roses under one of the old glass domes I've started
collecting - seems a perfect place to keep them dust-free.
I have more roses drying in the potting shed so don't be surprised if
this small bunch gets larger.

Joining the party HERE at Vee's - hurry on over to see more cards and perhaps add some of your own - we'd love to see them.
Lovely choices for your May Note Cards. It is amazing how the months just fly by. Enjoy your Memorial Weekend!
ReplyDeleteOh I love how you dressed up the button! That's darling. Okay, I love vintage anything and this just looks marvelous to me. I'd buy them if they were available for certain.

How beautiful! I love dried roses and in that vintage setting...awesome!
ReplyDeleteVery Victorian I think. But, then, aren't dried roses always Victorian?
ReplyDeleteVery lovely note cards.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness...I love what you did with the dried roses. I also dry all of mine and have a lot of them. I never thought of arranging the under a cloche! Great idea...I might just have to "borrow" your idea! Your photos and the effects you used make for a very lovely set of cards!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful set Mary! The dried roses are exquisite as is the cloche. Love the vintage look.

Beautiful shots Mary. I would love to receive one of these cards. I dry my hydrangea in the fall like that.
ReplyDeleteJust lovely! You have style all your own Mary!
ReplyDeleteThe combination of the dried roses, the glass domes and your wonderful photography makes these photos real winners. They are all gorgeous. I missed the party this month since we were away. But I'm enjoying visiting some of the participants now.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - so styley as always Mary dear!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful cards - and how beautifully displayed!
ReplyDeleteI have been hammering pansies and making cards with the results. They come out very well.
Came to your blog via the wonderful Weaver of Grass.
Your dried roses are beautiful. I had to smile when you said not to be surprised if the bouquet gets larger.
ReplyDeleteOne of my cousins always dried the roses her husband would bring her until she had this huge bouquet of memories.
She even saved some from the roses at my mother's memorial service and added to the bouquet. It was so beautiful.
I haven't been good at saving them because they get dusty. Great idea to put under a dome. I must do that. I even have
a dome just right and waiting. Thanks, m
I just joined your friends list. Your background got my eyes. Now looking at your other blogs Mary. I seen you on another persons blog today. I followed you. I added you.
ReplyDeleteI just love dried flowers also.
I loved the poem time in a bottle . Very touching. Did you write it? I love your bottles.
