Before I end glimpses into Summer at Lake Almanor, I wanted to share the latest additions at Paula's house. If you're young, or older but brave, there's a great bungee jump. Here you see Cullen helping Jasmin get into the harness...................
.............and before long she was bouncing up into the blue.
As if that wasn't enough fun for one afternoon, she then tried out the new zipline...............
............................needless to say I was in the old but not brave enough class so did not try this. I felt I should keep my precious limbs in one piece ready for traversing slippery decks and rough waters on the upcoming sub-Antarctic trip! Besides, you may recall I'd put my back out on the way to California and performing Cirque de Soleil tricks in the trees was not near the top of my 'fun to do' list. Some things are just best left to the young, don't you agree?
