With bitter cold weather, the outdoor decorating has been put on hold.......even the tree in the gazebo has not been decorated, it's just sitting there looking like.....well a green tree! Nothing wrong with that. Here indoors I have put up many Christmas items and these are some of my favorites. Above, the beautiful NOEL garland made and gifted to me by Jenny at SuzAnna's Antiques
Mercury glass balls mix well with my folded/pleated/vintage books.
The rosemary 'tree' smells so good and fits where a Christmas tree can't go.
The real meaning of Christmas is tucked in this corner by the front door.
Cherubs trumpet from the mantel.
Silvered filigree trees gleam in evening candlelight.
.....................and my good wishes for you are coming through the cold, crisp air as you ready for the Christmas season.
Isn't this weather amazing!
ReplyDeleteEdward slipped and slid on the backporch this evening!
I loved everything you showed but the Silvered filigree trees were gorgeous. I have never seen those. You have such a lovely style.
ReplyDeleteYour house looks lovely, Mary. I love the banner that Jenny gave you!

You have everything so festive looking. I think I am done with all the decorating. I had my open house for the church last Sunday evening so that made me get things done! I am in for the count today....it is so cold out and with the sleet coming down, it is a good day to stay put! Hope you have a very Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteMary~Air Style ... nothing like it! Merry Christmas!
ReplyDeleteYour home looks beautiful decorated for Christmas Mary. I have a rosemary tree wrapped in burlap on my kitchen counter.

It's looking very magical around your house these days. Very pretty. My creche is almost identical to yours!
ReplyDeleteMary, your decorations are very pretty. Hopefully you will be able to decorate the tree in your gazebo before Christmas. Could you just put some lights in it? That alone always says Christmas.

My JOY would go well with your WISH. I have a basket like your, but alas it is painted brown. I would love to know how to get it a color like you have on yours. As usual I love all your decorations. The rosemary tree and creche - all special!
ReplyDeleteHi Mary, enjoyed checking your decorations out. I can so relate to being slow to decorate. I just don't worry and take it one day at a time. Also, Thanks for 'missing' my posts. You are the sweetest!
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Hugs N Herbal Blessings, mandy
Everything looked so lovely!
