I'm resting up a bit as I've felt 'under the weather'
these last couple of days........dry prickly throat,
popping ears, fuzzy head, huge sneezing bouts, and a
stuffy nose now sore from dripping and wiping.
When I look in the mirror I don't like what is looking back!
Hopefully just a run-of-the-mill cold, no temp, no
aches and pains - other than normal - and I did get
the 'flu shot as always.
I'm slow to look at your blogs and leave comments right now...........I'll catch up later.
See the little guy on my driveway? I feel a bit
like that............and need to be wrapped
in something soft and furry, but with a warmer spot
to sit on of course!
It's been so cold here, but thankfully is warming up
again and we have lovely sunshine this morning.
Be back soon.
Get warm and well soon Mary.

Stay warm, enjoy some soothing tea, nap, rest. Feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh Mary, if only I lived closer... I could pop in with a pot of nourishing vegetable soup and home baked muffins!
ReplyDeleteA forced rest for you my dear, grab your latest Country Living mag and stay warm and toasty in bed.
Silly weather here too - I had to put a cardigan on this morning when sweeping the paths!
Big warm hugs and love

Oh a pot of chicken noodle soup with home made crackers sounds perfect - hope you are feeling better soon. Love your little critter visitor.
ReplyDeleteOh, stay warm and cozy, Mary. Take good care of yourself. Being sick with a cold/cough/tickly throat/ is no fun at all. Sink down into a soft pile of cushions and wrap up in cozy warmth.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear you are unwell Mary. Just wrap yourself up and make up a hot toddy and relax xxx
ReplyDeleteFeel better Mary. There are some really terrible flus going around in our area lasting 2 weeks or more. Glad it's only a light version of it. I love your collage. Beautiful soft colours. Hugs, Pamela
ReplyDeleteHope you will soon be feeling better Mary and hope also that your weather warms up again. Love today's photos.
ReplyDeleteOh, I am so sorry Mary that you are not feeling well. There is nothing to do but cuddle up in your warmest featherbed, drink lots of your favorite tea with fresh lemon juice and a little honey. Take time out and do nothing. Get better soon. ox, Gina
ReplyDeleteThis is where I have been for 48 hours. Lower intestinal flu,
ReplyDeleteso no sneezing and throat stuff, but spent many hours in
the bathroom. Whew! Glad that is over, now for a good night
sleep tonight and I will be back to normal. Take care, dear Mary,
and hope you are feeling back to normal very soon. xoxo m
So sorry to hear that you are under the weather, Mary.
ReplyDeleteTake it easy and stay warm. I hear we may be back to 60 degrees on Sunday. That would be nice, wouldn't it? I hope you feel better SOON.
Stay cosy, Mary. Wrap up, warm your hands around a cup of tea and lose yourself in a beautiful book. I hope the cold outside lets up and the good weather finds you back on your feet.
ReplyDeletePoor Mary, take care and I hope you feel better really quickly. Love your photo collage. x Jane
ReplyDeleteSorry to read you're not feeling well dear Mary. Snuggle down and sip a nice warm drink and submerge yourself in a good book. Hope you feel better very soon!
