HNY to you too, Mary. So were some toasts said and if so, what were they? Hmm..methinks you could do a fabulous write up on it whilst showing your scrumptious offerings too.
For myself, ringing the new year entailed waiting up until midnight....LONDON time, then raising our tea mugs to 2016. So much easier that way. have to say though, the best firework display has to be Sydney's. Perhaps one of these years you will go there to celebrate the start of the new year? How spectacular would that be?
A BREATH OF FRESH AIR is a fresh version of my former three year blog ACROSS THE POND which can still be accessed by clicking on the title above. I'm a transplanted Brit enjoying life in North Carolina.
Sixty two years of journeying back and forth across the wide Atlantic Ocean have kept me busy…….and made my life very interesting! Although I've now visited all seven continents, I continue to travel and look forward to sharing new places around the world. I love taking photos! All images are my own unless noted otherwise. Please do not use my photos without a request. I enjoy sharing and will usually say OK!
Happy New year old bean , hoping 2016 will be a cracker xxxxxxx
