This is such a lovely afternoon tea, and so special.
Grown in England of all places.
A recent gift from Cornwall blog friend Barbara
whom I met up with at long last in May,
this light Darjeeling blend has been perfect for
hot afternoon respites in the gazebo
these past busy early July days.
Loving it.
Afternoon tea, happy thoughts of friends near and far, and summer sunshine... Bliss...
ReplyDeleteIt sounds like a wonderful tea.
ReplyDeleteHow lovely to have a spot of tea out in the gazebo... sounds romantic somehow.
ReplyDeleteSo glad you are enjoying our local tea. It is very popular here. Lovely memories of our day together!
ReplyDeleteIt truly is the perfect light tea on these sticky humid afternoons Barbara - and as I told Vee, I have never embraced southern iced tea!
DeleteYou haven’t joined the sweet iced tea Southern crowd? I must try hot tea on a summer’s afternoon sometime. Sometimes on a cool, rainy summer afternoon, I have tea. Somehow it’s not quite so appealing on a scorcher of a day.
ReplyDeleteNo, never sweet iced tea no matter how long I'm stuck here in the south Vee!
DeleteOH that gazebo would be a delight for taking time out to relax with a cup of tea and a treat!
ReplyDeletePop over from OZ someday dear Serena - I'll put the kettle on and bake a cake!
DeleteTea outdoors in such a special spot would be a real treat. The tea from Barbara sounds lovely.
