Scribble Picnic - Strawberry. . . . . . . .

Strawberry picking time is already here in North Carolina.
Just down the road, into the gorgeous green countryside, there
are plenty of strawberry patches - U-Pick Your Own, or
roadside stands where, thankfully, the farmer and his workers
have done the hard work for we less agile/hard to bend our
backs group. I used to enjoy strawberry picking with the
kids in my younger days!
Yesterday we pulled over to the stand set up annually just a few minutes
down the road from home, and bought our second punnet of rosy, sweet,
"picked this morning" strawberries. . . . . . . and as they hope to be picking
locally into early June, we'll be back for more.

My strawberries edited via PicMonkey to a sketch, colored with watercolor pencils.

This week Michael's SCRIBBLE PICNIC theme is Strawberry - fresh,
sweet, healthy berries.  Stop by for some springtime fruit shared by
our creative group.

Enjoy!
