Green miracles........................

This week - just three of the small
green miracles of Nature making their
first appearance in the Spring garden.

I'll be in the Philadelphia area this weekend, a planned visit to spend time with family. Sadly, my sweet 94 year old mother-in-law was hospitalized this past week and we've been greatly concerned for her, however she's doing better and may be returned to her assisted living home by the time we arrive.
Anyway, wherever we visit it will be a time of sharing precious moments with loved ones.

  2. Tiny green miracles, indeed! It is a wonderful time of year. I hope your mother-in-law is able to return to her care home soon - perhaps the promise of spring will help.

  3. I hope you find your mother-in-law resting more comfortably when you arrive and that you enjoy your visit with family. It's fun to see the new growth in the garden. I've noticed, after clearing the beds this week, that things are starting to pop up too. Have a great weekend. Hugs, Pamela

  5. Mary, My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as you travel. My figs are out as well, although I have few leaves to camouflage them. I am afraid the birds always devour them before harvest time. Hopefully one day there will be enough for both of us. Bonnie

  6. Isn't garden appearances the very best. I can't believe you already are seeing figs. Now I must run and check my fig tree. Take care as you travel to visit family. I hope your mother-in-law is back in her little nest by the time you arrive.

  8. Figs forming already! I noticed that mine is just beginning to show a green bud or two. It's a young plant and we've not had any figs yet, hopefully this year will be the one!
Those first buds are so exciting. Enjoy the newness!
