My pre-Spring garden today -

Thankfully the light rain showers, with very little wind, of yesterday
and early this morning helped rather than hindered the garden blooms.
So, sharing many of the current colorful blooms outside the windows today,
all of which are definitely ahead of recent years when our winters were
 much colder than this one.

Thanks so much for all the generous comments on my previous post about
reaching my sixteenth anniversary of starting my blog.
You are the best of friends.

Hugs - and have a great weekend.

  4. Oh, those blooms! I can't wait. I'm looking out my living room window right now at the gray skies and bare trees. It's 37 degrees and a rain/snow mix is about to reach here. Longing for those warmer days and flowers.

  6. Half of winter depression comes from totally covered grey skies, effectively blocking out the colour blue from our lives. The other half comes from bare trees and gardens; even evergreen trees look bedraggled. Now your colourful blooms have reaffirmed life and pleasure :)

  7. The garden's looking good! A very stop-start sort of spring over here - as I suppose it is most years.

  8. Your garden blooms are looking gorgeous. I was surprised at the many trees and bulbs I saw in bloom when I was out yesterday. Far more than the previous week. Now I am keeping my fingers crossed that there are no late season freezes in store. The sun is shining this morning after our stormy night. Enjoy your weekend and your beautiful garden.

  12. Your beautiful mosaic of spring flowers made me smile, I'm so looking forward to longer, warmer days and watching my garden come back to life. The hellebores were the first quickly followed by crocus and daffodils. Spring is my favourite season. Congrats on 16 years of blogging, yours was one of the first blogs to inspire me when I began Normandy Life almost 15 years ago, how time flies!
Sending love and hugs from Yorkshire.
