Mornings like this. . . . . . . . . . . .

 . . . . . . aren't much fun!

Even with a beautiful sunrise.
Even without a couple of feet of snow - stay safe and warm
dear northern friends.

Dear husband will spend part of this morning in the dentist's chair having
major oral surgery.
While dreaming only those strange dreams one gets while under general anesthesia,
I'll be knitting or reading in the waiting room - it could take a couple of hours.
I'll be worrying too - you know how that is.

Must run now - my role for today, and the next few, is chauffeur and nursemaid.
The best part of today will be when we pull up the driveway later.
The Welcome home sign will be for us today!

  3. A beautiful sunrise to herald in a stressful day for you two, thinking of you and hoping all goes well until you return to your cottage later today. Hope the snow stays away.

  4. Our best thoughts for you hubby - things often seem harder to me before they actually begin and then things run smoothly and fast. May you be back in your cozy home before long.

  5. Sending positive thoughts your way! Soon you will both be home again. We dodged a bullet with the storm. Only an inch of snow!

  7. Oh no, definitely not a fun way to start the morning. The dental surgery that is. The sunrise looks gorgeous.
I do hope all goes well for Bob and that you are soon back to your comfy cottage. I know that he is in good hands with you caring for him post surgery.
By the way, thanks for the heads up on the Kefir sale at HT. I'm hoping to get over there today to pick some up.

  8. Hello Mary,

Gosh you are both having a troublesome time of it at the moment. Why do health issues come like buses ........ all at once!

You are in our thoughts and we trust, even as we write, that you are both safely back home and all is well. Take care!

  14. By now I hope that yesterday's time in the chair is just a bad dream for your Bob. I'll have to check further along to find out how it all went. I hope he is well!
