My Dad. . . . . . . . . .

Torquay, Devon, England - 1970
Edward Rolton M. (but always called Steve) - 1900-1976

My father's birthplace - the small fishing town of Brixham, Devon, on the edge of Tor Bay.
When I go home to England I always take the small ferry across the bay, sit quietly
on the harbourside, and recall the time I did that with my daddy as a child.

Enjoy being with your Father today if you can. . . . . . or remember
him with love and respect.

  4. A touching tribute to your Dad, Mary.
It wasn't Father's Day in Germany, so there weren't any special celebrations going on, but I do love my Dad all year :-) In fact, I am working from home today which means I can have lunch at my parents'. I bought luxurious chocolates for them on the weekend, each is getting a small bag of hand-made chocolates of the tastes they like best, to say thank you for the lunch.
