At the Top of Dubai..............

Burj Khalifa is the world's tallest building.....................on arrival here in Dubai yesterday, we said goodbye to Queen Elizabeth, checked into our hotel and spent the afternoon sightseeing.

Later today we'll be touring more and riding to level 123 of the Burj and stepping out onto the world's highest observation terrace for the 360 degree sweeping views to the Gulf and sand dunes of the Arabian Desert beyond.

The world's largest musical fountain was a beautiful experience with gorgeous music.

We leave for home tonight - flying back through London and on to Raleigh. I'll have lots to share from the trip later.

  3. Our nephew lives in Dubai and has been up there a few times as has my sister-in-law when she visits him. I don't know if I'd go up or not as I don't like heights. It is a beautiful building and I hear the views are spectacular. Sounds like you'll be home for Easter. Blessings, Pamela

  4. What an adventure! Happy travels home. I think my knees would have been weak to be up in an observation deck in that tall building.
