Out of Africa - the Kenya experience. . . . . . .

FRICA awaits. . . . . . .

Bags packed and ready for the airport later today.
This evening we'll be on our way, full of hope that the journey
goes without hitches, and happy to be heading back to the amazing
 African continent.
First time for us in Kenya. Plans are to see some very exciting
places along with many game drives on the Masai Mara plains.

If you haven't read this book, or seen the fabulous movie with the same title
starring Meryl Streep and Robert Redford, you may want to.
I've done both, several times. . . . . . .and they always remain at the top
of my favorites list. Now I'm hoping for an even more exciting experience
surrounding this wonderful true and somewhat sad story - more on that later!

  4. Have a safe journey! The long flight would put me off, but I know if you want to see faraway places, you have to put up with long flights - or even longer sea journeys.

  5. I am so excited Mary; can't wait to hear all about it. Out of Africa, the movie is a fav, but have never read the book. Must be so different now than in Dinesan's day.
