View from our hotel window this morning. Not blossoms, SNOW!
Charlotte, North Carolina . . . . . . . . light snow coming down this morning.
Unusual weather for the southeast. After an almost non-winter, this is
a mid-March surprise.
We'll be heading home later . . . . . . hopefully the roads will be clear.
Drive carefully, dear Mary.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty sight to see, and quite troublesome, potentially, for that part of the continent.
ReplyDeleteHave a safe journey home, Mary!
ReplyDeleteWe've been enjoying such beautiful spring weather Friday, Saturday and Sunday - I really would not be happy to see any more snow! But it could still happen, of course...
My goodness. It is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteIsn't that insane? Snow is going to start here tonight and go through Tues. morning. We're supposed to get 4-7". Ugh.
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Charlotte. I can only remember one time there was a light dusting of snow and I was so happy. Then I grew up and moved to NYC and the thrill of snow sort of wore off LOL
ReplyDeleteCrazy weather...
ReplyDeleteWow, that is a late snow. Hope you've arrived home safely.
ReplyDeleteThere is something beautiful in snow for a little while. Hope the roads were safe for traveling.
ReplyDeleteSnowing here now, Mary. I've heard Boston and New York will get hit quite hard.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels.
Love and hugs,
Jane xxx
Crazy indeed. My NY boy is none too happy that this week is Spring Break and they are having anything but spring like weather.
ReplyDeleteWe've had crazy weather this year, too. It seems to be that way for many places this winter: upper seventies one day and thirty the next. I've been looking at past posts on your blog, very interesting. Looking forward to seeing your slip covers. I've never gotten anything dyed. We need to replace our sofa. The sun did a number on it, and it's faded.
ReplyDeleteSafe travels, Mary. Hopefully you are home again, warm and cozy. The news says there will be cold and snow all across the south.
ReplyDeleteSo pretty Mary and a great photograph. It's fairly mild here in the UK and yesterday was the most beautiful Spring day ... blue skies, sunshine and daffodils and crocuses out everywhere !! Back to grey skies today ..... typical of the UK. XXXX
ReplyDeleteSo pretty --like a snow globe.
