A warming cup of coffee, after a 45 minute walk..........and the day starts on the lower deck as the mist rises from the lake.
Yes, the blanket is required at night, plus a cozy comforter! Can't begin to tell you how great it feels to be cool again.
Paula's dock complete with everything to ensure fun on the water. Unfortunately I pulled a muscle in my back on my way to California so I'm not doing anything strenuous for a few days!
Mt.Lassen from Lake Almanor
Daytime temps. are in the perfect 80's - calm mornings with a light breeze in the late afternoon producing small white caps on the lake. Evenings perfect for dining outside.
Just put on your bathing suit, Mary, slip into the water and.........float.

Umm, thought you would have run home to sort out Bob's pizza poor man. I'd offer him fish & chips if he was nearer!

Oh so gorgeous. I'd love to live on the water even though I'm not really a water sports person or a strong swimmer even. I just love the feeling of being near the water. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteOooooh sounds perfect. Enjoy your stay and I hope your back gets back to normal soon. x
ReplyDeleteWhat perfect photographs. Unfortunately whenever I see water and evening in the same sentence I think 'mosquitos' - hope they were not too bad. Hope your back is soon better.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing the morning mist on the lake as you drink your coffee. Just the perfect way to start a beautiful day. This is the weather we are having, sleeping under the blanket at night, but sitting in the sun of the late afternoon. It is perfection!
ReplyDeleteBTW I hope your back heals quickly, so you can out there and play with those toys.
ReplyDeleteAbsolute bliss. Enjoy! And, I hope you back feels better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh Mary, these photos are so beautiful. What a wonderful spot to relax and watch all the activity on the water. I hope your back is healing so you can enjoy a boat ride or two! Blessings, Pamela

ReplyDeleteSounds divine Mary.
That is a beautiful place to spend some time! And enjoy the cooler temps!
ReplyDeleteJust looking at that gorgeous first picture makes me feel cooler. Mid-90s in the Triad this week, so don't rub it in too much, ok?
ReplyDeleteHi Mary! I can almost imagine sitting sipping a warm cuppa out on that deck with you-beautiful. I am so sorry your back is hurting, what an awful shame! You take care and relax in what appears to be quite a heavenly place to do so. gentle hugs, Mary Ann
