MY IRISH MOMENT. . . . . . . . . .

I will share some beautiful scenery with you soon
from here . . . . . .the Cliffs of Moher in Galway, Ireland.

Standing here in the wind was amazing.
Earlier, we circled the rock pinnacle below, tossed
about in a small boat, as we sailed under the cliffs, the
seabirds, including hundreds of puffins, circling above
 our heads.
Then, walking along the cliff top later, looking down,
one truly felt the majesty of this remarkable area.

I'm truly loving this beautiful country.

  8. What a glorious place! I've seen it twice, and very grateful for the visits. Oh, how I'd love to go back to Ireland one more time. Jim and I had planned to do that, but it just wasn't meant to be. I won't be traveling over there by myself. I hope you are having a wonderful time! Lovely portrait.

  10. Oh Mary
a lovely photo of you, the Cliffs of Moher and your lacy scarf!
We didn't know about the boat trip - a downside of bus tours - we would have loved that. I would enjoy seeing the Puffins too!
It was a special place - oh to have visited years ago before the arrival of tour buses, there must have been 50+ the day we visited!

  12. Oh, Mary...I haven't been by in so long! I am really behind with everyone, and I am so sorry. I happened to see that you were in Ireland, and since that is my only "European" trip ever, an amazing memory with my Mom for ten days, I had to check out your posts! LOVED the Cliffs of Moher! Your posts are bringing it all back, and I am loving every minute! Hope you are doing well!
