Colors of Chiang Mai..................

Tomorrow the King of Thailand celebrates his 84th Birthday..........a huge celebration throughout the kingdom.





It's all just breathtaking.........I'm so looking forward to sharing my trip once home again.


Today, the thrill of riding elephants.....tomorrow we may be unable to walk!!!

  2. Lots of photos of the elephant ride, please! An iconic photo, for me, is the one of Jackie Kennedy riding on an elephant with her sister. It was the last word in glamour to this then-school girl.

  8. Memories! You are seeing Thailand differently than we did, but yet the same. Chiang Mai is a special place. How exciting to be there for the kings birthday, they seem to really love the king.

  11. YOU WILL HAVE TO STRETCH THOSE LEGS WIDE OVER AN ELEPHANT!

    WE HAVE EXCHANGED CONTRACTS - AT LAST. MOVE IS NOW ON FOR MONDAY 12th DECEMBER. BIG SIGHS OF RELIEF ALL ROUND. VENDORS SOLICITOR APPARENTLY WENT SICK AND WHAT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE ON FRIDAY EVENTUALLY DONE TODAY. HALLELUJAH ! SOME SOLICITORS DESERVE THE JEREMY CLARKSON TREATMENT. GRRRR.
