  8. Every photo invites one in with wonder and Christmas sparkled magic. I love them all, especially the centre on with Mary and her magnificent imagined headpiece, evoking those glorious old churches, and the bottom right nativity of sorts.

Speaking of which, Alexandra and I were watching the best adverts of the Christmas season this year (from UK) as we do every year, so many of them also full of wonder and a certain childhood innocence rarely found on the media here. One thing that particularly struck us was, regardless of what type of big commercial business, how many of them included children doing a nativity or even a cross or such, a sort of reminder of not only the holiday itself but the cultural roots of the country. I thought how one would never find that here as we have gone so OTT with being inclusive that we deny the fact that millions are indeed celebrating Christmas for more that just commercial means.
