Sunflower Saturday. . . . . . . .

In the quiet, early hours of Saturday morning. . . . .

. . . . . a lone sunflower remains in the front garden, its face
turned toward the east as the sun rises and another beautiful
late Summer day begins.
Happy weekend.

  1. My sunflowers didn't make it, I think it was due to the birds being a bit hungry at the beginning of the year :-) So nice to see these sun followers showing off before the summer ends. xx

  6. Beautiful - happy weekend to you. Mine will be spent scrubbing hinges so I can spray paint them and priming and painting the last 6 kitchen cupboard doors. Now if the sun would just come out so I can get started on the painting. I'm sure there will be a trip to the local farmstand and maybe a ride up to Birch Bay, just for fun.

  10. That is a great photo - I like the way you have edited it. The sunflower looks like she is getting ready to conduct a choir in praise of the rising sun.
