Prior to moving many photos off the laptop into portable storage,
just wanted to share these remaining ones taken in Sicily in May.
Enjoy, and remember, this Italian island is a truly beautiful place to visit if you
have the chance. I would love to return some day for the scenery, the history,
the oranges and lemons. . . . . . and the best pizza ever!
"Arrivederci stunning Sicily".
Beautiful and that pizza made my mouth water!
ReplyDeletePenny, we all ordered what they said was a 'personal size pizza' and were shocked when they arrived this large! My goodness - everyone in the group finished their pie to the last crumb I think - best crust ever. Note they didn't add much fresh basil but even so the flavors of the toppings were awesome!
ReplyDeleteAh Sicily - you were fabulous in Springtime!
Mary -
Dear Mary, So, so many beautiful photographs. That picture of your pizza came just in time...a reminder for us to leave a little room for Pizza now and then. A few more weeks and we are off.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful selections of photos to say good-bye... until next time :-)
ReplyDeleteI don't know whether you have had a chance yet to look at my old posts about Sicily, the island I spent so many summers on (I was married to a Sicilian for 10 years before I met Steve, and my Italian is heavily tinted with a Sicilian accent).
I would happily return to Sicily again, and have really enjoyed seeing your lovely photos - but that painting of hell doesn't look very inviting!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! The pizza does look delicious! Hello Bob! You did have a wonderful trip and I love that you shared it with us.
ReplyDeleteThat is a fantastic photo of your Bob and wow! that piz of yours looks ginormous! hahah. Yes, Sicily is in my top 5 places to visit overseas one day. "the scenery, the history,
ReplyDeletethe oranges and lemons. . . . . . and the best pizza ever" If it had not been that descript would sell me alone, let alone your fab photos too. Mmm..
