. . . . . and the fragrance is divine!

At the kitchen window

We were so lucky.
No hail, no damaging winds, no tornadoes. . . . . . . . just a lot more heavy rain!
The flowers and shrubs were battered but with a little sun they are looking up.

  1. So glad that the winds and tornadoes didn't arrive Mary and that is a lovely bouquet of spring flowers for the home.

    1. Hope all OK in your area too dear Penny.
More storms coming to us both, next weekend looks like a washout once again! Never had so much rain around here - that we can recall.
Azaleas just opening, and are lovely, but they won't last for Easter by looks of it with so much water expected. Grass grew inches the past 2 days - 'mower man' will be powering up again today!

  3. My soul sighs to think that you are out in your garden picking these lovely Spring blossoms. Although the snow has melted and Spring has been arriving slowly, we are only now sighting things poking their green noses through the still cold earth. But soon, very soon. So glad the storm passed your way.

Wishing you a beautiful day, Mary.

  4. Our weather has been so crazy, two nights ago I thought for sure the roof would blow off and the rain was coming down so hard it sounded like a freight train, and it was blowing sideways! On my walk the next morning I thought for sure there would be nary a blossom left but lucky for me there were still so many beautiful cherry blossoms on the tree and of course lots of petal confetti on the ground. I hoep that you are having a great week!

  5. Gorgeous! Happy to hear you survived. When the weather bends flowers over it is my sign to rescue them as you have done.
